Massive Gauge Bosons in Yang-Mills Theory without Higgs Mechanism [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2004
A new mechanism giving the massive gauge bosons in Yang-Mills theory is proposed in this letter. The masses of intermediate vector bosons can be automatically given without introducing Higgs scalar boson. Furthermore the relation between the masses of bosons and the fermion mass matrix is obtained.

Vector boson fusion and quartic boson couplings [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
One of the goals of the upcoming experiments at the LHC is the exploration of electroweak symmetry breaking in all aspects. In particular, the self-couplings of the vector gauge bosons are completely specified in the Standard Model, as are the couplings of the Higgs boson to the vector bosons once the Higgs mass is known.

Di-boson results at ATLAS

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2012
Pairs of gauge boson produced in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy √s of 7 TeV are reconstructed with the ATLAS detector in their leptonic final states.

Bosonic M-Theory From a Kac-Moody Algebra Perspective [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
We study the existence of a bosonic m-theory extension of the 10D and 26D closed bosonic string in terms of Kac-Moody algebras. We argue that K11 and K27 are symmetries which protect the coefficients of the closed bosonic string in 10 and 26 dimensions.

The Possibility of Constructing the Standard Model Without Higgs Bosons in the Fermion Sector [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2009
The paper addresses the construction of the Standard Model with massive fermions without introduction of the Yukawa interaction between Higgs bosons and fermions. With such approach, Higgs bosons are responsible only for the gauge invariance of the theory's boson sector and interact only with gauge bosons W+-, Z, gluons and photons.
