Abstract A better understanding of seasonal and diurnal variation in forage nutritive value may help to maximize protein intake and digestibility for grazing livestock. Forage nutritive value was evaluated in four cool‐season grasses common to Kentucky pastures: orchardgrass (Dactylis glomerata L.; OG), perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne L.

Taxonomic results of the Bryotrop expedition to Zaire and Rwanda : 2., history of bryological exploration of Zaire and Rwanda [PDF]
A short survey of the bryological exploration of Rwanda and Zaire is provided. The first to collect bryophytes in the area was Stuhlmann in 1891 on Ruwenzori. The first bryological collections from Rwanda were made by Mildbraed in 1907.

Incorporating Refugia Capacity in Assessing Plant Climate Vulnerability: A Study Case on Alpine Endemics [PDF]
This study assesses the impact of climate change on seven endemic plant species in the Alps by modelling future habitat suitability under different climate scenarios. By identifying long‐term refugia, holdouts and stepping stones, the study reveals species‐specific patterns of persistence and highlights the limited potential for range shifts.
