Storage Potential of Soil Functional Carbon Fractions in the World's Largest Plantations
Climate warming and drying increase the loss of mineral‐associated and particulate organic carbon during the conversion of natural forests to plantations. Based on a survey of the world's largest plantations, the study quantifies the soil carbon deficit in plantations and assesses benchmarks and targets for functional soil organic carbon, highlighting ...

Deoxynivalenol Exposure Leads to Abnormal Renal Tubular Autophagy Flow
DON exposure disrupts the initiation of renal autophagy by inhibiting the formation of autophagosomes, thereby impairing mitochondrial degradation. Damaged mitochondria increase oxidative stress, reduce ferroptosis resistance, and cause lysosomal Fe2⁺ accumulation, further disrupting autophagy.

Editing susceptibility lncRNAs offers a strategy to enhance disease resistance without yield loss. RESIS, a domestication‐acquired, pathogen‐induced lncRNA, promotes protein N‐terminal acetylation through its interaction with NatA complex. Knockout of RESIS increases translation and confers broad‐spectrum resistance to both fungal and bacterial ...

In temporal lobe epilepsy, hippocampal APOE is markedly upregulated predominantly in microglia. APOE overexpression in microglia drives TLR4 and cGAS/STING‐dependent neuroinflammation, engages bidirectional crosstalk with neurons and astrocytes, increases neuronal excitability, and perturbs hippocampal lipid metabolism. These findings suggest that APOE‐
