Search for electroweak production of a vector-like T quark using fully hadronic final states

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
A search is performed for electroweak production of a vector-like top quark partner T of charge 2/3 in association with a top or bottom quark, using proton-proton collision data at s $$ \sqrt{s} $$ = 13 TeV collected by the CMS experiment at the LHC in ...

Top Mass Measurement and Bottom Fragmentation at the LHC [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
We show some recent HERWIG results related to the top quark mass measurement at the LHC and discuss possible improvements for studies of the bottom quark fragmentation function in the top decay.Comment: 4 pages, 1 figure.

Radiation Transport Through the Martian Atmosphere as a Function of the Zenith Angle

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Planets, Volume 130, Issue 12, December 2025.
Abstract The topographic influence of the radiation environment on the Martian surface radiation is crucial for future human exploration. Topographic maps help assess radiation flux variations, aiding in hazard evaluation. Creating a global radiation map requires accounting for seasonally varying atmospheric density, heliospheric modulation, and ...

Analytic result of Higgs boson decay to gluons with full quark mass dependence

open access: yesPhysics Letters B
We report the first analytic calculation of the Higgs boson decay width to gluons up to next-to-leading order in quantum chromodynamics including full dependence on the bottom and charm quark masses.

Nonleptonic Weak Decays of Bottom Baryons

open access: yes, 1997
Cabibbo-allowed two-body hadronic weak decays of bottom baryons are analyzed. Contrary to the charmed baryon sector, many channels of bottom baryon decays proceed only through the external or internal W-emission diagrams.

Magnetic Moments of Heavy $\Xi_{Q}$ Baryons in Light Cone QCD Sum Rules [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
The magnetic moments of heavy $\Xi_{Q}$ baryons containing a single charm or bottom quark are calculated in the framework of light cone QCD sum rules method.

Exploring the Phytochemical and Physical Stability of Phycocyanin, Anthocyanins, and Betacyanin in a Cheesecake Product

open access: yesMolecular Nutrition &Food Research, Volume 69, Issue 21, November 2025.
Phycocyanin, anthocyanins, and betacyanin were tested with various sweeteners (sucrose, fructose, dextrose, xylitol, sorbitol) to assess their impact on color retention, antioxidant activity, and sensory properties. Key parameters investigated include pigment degradation, antioxidant performance, color measurements, and consumer acceptability, offering

Heavy-light meson spectrum with and without NRQCD

open access: yes, 2000
Results for the spectrum of S and P-wave charmed mesons are obtained in the quenched approximation from a tadpole-improved anisotropic gauge field action and a D234 quark action.

Vector-like quark interpretation of excess in Higgs signal strength

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2019
There is a +2σ deviation in the average Higgs-signal strength for all the 7+8+13 TeV data up to Summer 2018. We find that a slight reduction of the bottom-Yukawa coupling can fit the data better than the standard model.
