Bottom-quark production at hadron colliders

Physical Review D, 1987
The recent measurement by the UA1 group of the cross section for bottom-quark production with transverse momentum greater than 5 GeV is found to be in good agreement with the simplest, lowest-order computations in perturbative quantum chromodynamics. This may be contrasted with the well-known disagreement for the much lighter charm quark.

The gg → HH amplitude induced by bottom quarks at two-loop level: planar master integrals

Journal of High Energy Physics
We consider the two-loop amplitude of gg → HH mediated by bottom quarks, which provides a correction of percent level at leading order in the low invariant mass region.

Improved mass of the bottom quark

Physical Review D, 2000
A recent determination of the mass of the b quark, based exclusively on quantum chromodynamics (by avoiding strictly to introduce any phenomenological interaction potential of nonperturbative origin), may be improved by allowing for a merely numerical solution of the corresponding eigenvalue problem. Bottom-Quark Fragmentation in Higgs Decay

AIP Conference Proceedings, 2005
I investigate bottom‐quark fragmentation in H → bb processes. I discuss the implementation of collinear and soft resummation, in the next‐to‐leading logarithmic approximation, and the inclusion of non‐perturbative contributions taken from LEP and SLD data.
