Bouguer Gravity Anomaly Patterns of Impact Features

2016
The Bouguer Anomaly is a measure of the difference of observed (free air) gravity variations and those induced by the topography. The pattern of the Bouguer Anomaly of large impact features is quite regular: there is a positive anomaly within inner rings and a negative anomaly from the inner ring to the edge of the apparent cavity.
