Measuring Boundary Spanning Behavior
This study develops a theoretical framework and a measurement scale to explore how industrial purchasers interact in supplier relationships. The framework is grounded in recent theoretical developments that consider interaction modes as multidimensional ...

The MRP4 transporter exports several drugs and signaling molecules. Here, we identified key promoter elements regulating basal MRP4 expression. Using reporter assays, we defined a conserved region with essential Sp1 and contributory Ets sites, which controlled basal MRP4 expression.

Analysis of piezoelectric active patches performances by boundary element techniques
This paper presents the analysis of active piezoelectric patches for cracked structures by Boundary Element Method. A two dimensional boundary integral formulation based on the multidomain technique is used to model cracks and to assemble the multi ...

Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...

Emergence of boundary conditions in the heat equation
The Dirichlet and Neumann conditions are commonly employed as boundary conditions for the heat equation, yet their legitimacy is debatable in certain scenarios.

Abruptly changing from aerobic to anaerobic conditions (sudden anaerobization) induced growth inhibition and a significant increase in intracellular labile ferrous iron in the aerotolerant anaerobe Amphibacillus xylanus. We found that free flavins mediate efficient electron transfer from NADH to ferric iron under anaerobic conditions, suggesting that ...

In a murine model of myocardial ischemia and reperfusion (MI/R), the CD36 azapeptide ligand MPE‐298 reduces cardiac injury and transiently lowers left ventricular long‐chain fatty acids (LCFAs) accumulation 3 h after reperfusion, accompanied by a decrease of oxidative stress and inflammation‐associated genes' expression in the heart and adipose tissue.
