Accurate Boundary Conditions for Twin Boundary
Communications in Computational Physics, 2021In this paper a heterogeneous lattice with twin boundary is considered. The authors develop some accurate boundary conditions for treating the numerical boundary in the problem under consideration. These conditions include time history kernel (THK) treatment and matching boundary conditions (MBC).

Learning with Boundary Conditions
Neural Computation, 2013Kernel machines traditionally arise from an elegant formulation based on measuring the smoothness of the admissible solutions by the norm in the reproducing kernel Hilbert space (RKHS) generated by the chosen kernel. It was pointed out that they can be formulated in a related functional framework, in which the Green’s function of suitable differential

Molecular wall effects: Are conditions at a boundary “boundary conditions”?
Physical Review E, 2000This paper addresses and answers "no" to the question of whether the literal molecular-dynamically-derived species velocities prevailing at a solid surface bounding a two-component fluid continuum undergoing molecular diffusion constitute the appropriate species-velocity boundary conditions to be imposed upon the fluid continuum.

On Nonreflecting Boundary Conditions
Journal of Computational Physics, 1995This paper contributes to the study of nonreflecting boundary conditions at artificial boundaries for use with the Helmholtz equation. The following developments are covered: -- How to remove the difficulties that arise when the exact Dirichlet-to-Neumann condition is truncated?

THE ‘NO BOUNDARY CONDITION’ OUTFLOW BOUNDARY CONDITION
International Journal for Numerical Methods in Fluids, 1997Summary: We use a one-dimensional model problem of advection-diffusion to investigate the treatment recently advocated by \textit{T. C. Papanastasiou, N. Malamataris} and \textit{K. Ellwood} [Int. J. Numer. Methods Fluids 14, No. 5, 587--608 (1992; Zbl 0747.76039)] to deal with boundary conditions at artificial outflow boundaries. Using finite elements

Boundaries in psychoanalysis and psychotherapy can be considered either as indicators of moral transgressions or as guidelines for therapeutic intervention. This paper suggests that these categories be better delineated in the hope that less attention be paid to that of moral mistakes and more to that of treatment effectiveness.

Boundary conditions in electromagnetics
Physical Review E, 1993A proof is given to show that satisfying the boundary conditions on the tangential electric and magnetic fields across the boundary surface of two different material media means that the boundary conditions on the normal magnetic-induction vector and electric-displacement vector are automatically satisfied while the converse is not true.
