Anomalous transport in holographic boundary conformal field theories [PDF]
Abstract Recently, it is found that when an external magnetic field parallel to the boundary is applied, Weyl anomaly gives rises to a new anomalous current transport in the vicinity of the boundary. At the leading order of closeness from the boundary, the current is determined universally by the central charge of the theory.

Gravitational dressing of 3D conformal Galileon
Could a conformal Galileon be describing a gauge mode of a broader diffeomorphism invariant theory? We answer this question affirmatively in 3D by using a coset construction for a nonlinearly realized conformal symmetry.

Two point functions in defect CFTs
This paper is designed to be a practical tool for constructing and investigating two-point correlation functions in defect conformal field theory, directly in physical space, between any two bulk primaries or between a bulk primary and a defect primary ...

Distributions in CFT. Part I. Cross-ratio space
We show that the four-point functions in conformal field theory are defined as distributions on the boundary of the region of convergence of the conformal block expansion.

Information metric on the boundary
The information metric on the space of boundary coupling constants in two-dimensional conformal field theories is studied. Such a metric is related to the Casimir energy difference of the theory defined on an interval.

Boundary Entropy Can Increase Under Bulk RG Flow [PDF]
The boundary entropy log(g) of a critical one-dimensional quantum system (or two-dimensional conformal field theory) is known to decrease under renormalization group (RG) flow of the boundary theory.

Boundary Conformal Field Theory [PDF]
Boundary conformal field theory (BCFT) is simply the study of conformal field theory (CFT) in domains with a boundary. It gains its significance because, in some ways, it is mathematically simpler: the algebraic and geometric structures of CFT appear in a more straightforward manner; and because it has important applications: in string theory in the ...

O(N) models with boundary interactions and their long range generalizations
We study the critical properties of scalar field theories in d + 1 dimensions with O(N) invariant interactions localized on a d-dimensional boundary. By a combination of large N and epsilon expansions, we provide evidence for the existence of non-trivial

Comments on epsilon expansion of the O(N) model with boundary
The O(N) vector model in the presence of a boundary has a non-trivial fixed point in (4 − ϵ) dimensions and exhibits critical behaviors described by boundary conformal field theory.
