Exact solution of a boundary conformal field theory [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 1994
We study the conformal field theory of a free massless scalar field living on the half line with interactions introduced via a periodic potential at the boundary. An SU(2) current algebra underlies this system and the interacting boundary state is given by a global SU(2) rotation of the left-moving fields in the zero-potential (Neumann) boundary state.

Operator expansions, layer susceptibility and two-point functions in BCFT

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
We show that in boundary CFTs, there exists a one-to-one correspondence between the boundary operator expansion of the two-point correlation function and a power series expansion of the layer susceptibility.

Lattice regularisation of a non-compact boundary conformal field theory

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
Non-compact Conformal Field Theories (CFTs) are central to several aspects of string theory and condensed matter physics. They are characterised, in particular, by the appearance of a continuum of conformal dimensions.

Protecting the conformal symmetry via bulk renormalization on Anti deSitter space [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
The problem of perturbative breakdown of conformal symmetry can be avoided, if a conformally covariant quantum field phi on d-dimensional Minkowski spacetime is viewed as the boundary limit of a quantum field Phi on d+1-dimensional anti-deSitter ...

The O(N ) model with ϕ 6 potential in ℝ2 × ℝ+

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
We study the large N limit of O(N ) scalar field theory with classically marginal ϕ 6 interaction in three dimensions in the presence of a planar boundary. This theory has an approximate conformal invariance at large N .

The boundary theory of a spinor field theory on the Bruhat-Tits tree

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2020
For a spinor field theory on the Bruhat-Tits tree, we calculate the action and the partition function of its boundary theory by integrating out the interior of the Bruhat-Tits tree.

Exact Solutions in SFT and Marginal Deformation in BCFT

open access: yes, 2003
In this note we will study solution of open bosonic string field theory based on action of operators from chiral algebra of boundary conformal field theory on identity element of string field theory star algebra. We will demonstrate that the string field

Boundary states in c=−2 logarithmic conformal field theory [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2002
Starting from first principles, a constructive method is presented to obtain boundary states in conformal field theory. It is demonstrated that this method is well suited to compute the boundary states of logarithmic conformal field theories. By studying the logarithmic conformal field theory with central charge c=-2 in detail, we show that our method ...

Composite operators near the boundary

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
We use renormalization group methods to study composite operators existing at a boundary of an interacting conformal field theory. In particular we relate the data on boundary operators to short-distance (near-boundary) divergences of bulk two-point ...
