Anti--de Sitter/ boundary conformal field theory correspondence in the non-relativistic limit

open access: yes, 2012
Boundary conformal field theory (BCFT) is the study of conformal field theory (CFT) in semi-infinite space-time. In non-relativistic limit ($x\rightarrow\epsilon x, t\rightarrow t, \epsilon\rightarrow 0$), boundary conformal algebra changes to boundary ...

Holographic Dual of a Boundary Conformal Field Theory [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2011
We propose a holographic dual of a conformal field theory defined on a manifold with boundaries, i.e., boundary conformal field theory (BCFT). Our new holography, which may be called anti-de Sitter BCFT, successfully calculates the boundary entropy or g function in two-dimensional BCFTs and it agrees with the finite part of the holographic entanglement

Disordered but rhythmic—the role of intrinsic protein disorder in eukaryotic circadian timing

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Unstructured domains known as intrinsically disordered regions (IDRs) are present in nearly every part of the eukaryotic core circadian oscillator. IDRs enable many diverse inter‐ and intramolecular interactions that support clock function. IDR conformations are highly tunable by post‐translational modifications and environmental conditions, which ...

Entanglement properties of boundary state and thermalization

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
We discuss the regularized boundary state e−τ0H|Ba $$ {e}^{-{\tau}_0H}\Big|{\left.B\right\rangle}_a $$ on two aspects in both 2D CFT and higher dimensional free field theory.

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

On analytic bootstrap for interface and boundary CFT

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
We use analytic bootstrap techniques for a CFT with an interface or a boundary. Exploiting the analytic structure of the bulk and boundary conformal blocks we extract the CFT data.

Holographic operator mapping in dS/CFT and cluster decomposition

open access: yes, 2015
The bulk to boundary mapping for massive scalar fields is constructed, providing a de Sitter analog of the LSZ reduction formula. The set of boundary correlators thus obtained defines a potentially new class of conformal field theories based on principal
