Exploring Landmark Placement Strategies for Topology-Based Localization in Wireless Sensor Networks

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing, 2008
In topology-based localization, each node in a network computes its hop-count distance to a finite number of reference nodes, or “landmarks”.

Predicting Atomic Charges in MOFs by Topological Charge Equilibration

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An atomic charge prediction method is presented that is able to accurately reproduce ab‐initio‐derived reference charges for a large number of metal–organic frameworks. Based on a topological charge equilibration scheme, static charges that fulfill overall neutrality are quickly generated.

From Becker-Döring to Lifshitz-Slyozov: deriving the non-local boundary condition of a non-linear transport equation

open access: yesITM Web of Conferences, 2015
We investigate the connection between two classical models of phase transition phenomena, the (discrete size, Markov chain or infinite set of ODE) Becker-Döring equations and the (continuous size, PDE) Lifshitz-Slyozov equation.

Fine topology, Šilov boundary, and (ddc)n

open access: yesJournal of Functional Analysis, 1987
The authors study the following: In section 2, they give a short discussion of the (pluri-) fine topology of plurisubharmonic (psh) functions. In section 3, they consider the problem: if \(\psi\) is a bounded, fine continuous function with compact support, then \(\int \psi (dd^ cu_ j)^ n\to \int \psi (dd^ cu)^ n,\) where \(u_ j\) is a uniformly bounded

Zwitterionic Self‐Assembled Monolayer for Simultaneous Noise Suppression and Hole Extraction in High‐Performance Near‐Infrared Organic Photodetectors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a new hole transporting material (HTM) mechanism for self‐assembled monolayers in near‐infrared organic photodetectors. The formation of zwitterions induces a strong electric field that significantly increases the work function of HTM‐coated indium tin oxide substrates. The devices exhibit low dark current and noise, along with high

A distributional representation of strip analytic functions

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1982
A strip analytic function converging in the D′ topology to certain boundary values (from the interior of the strip) is represented as the difference of two generalized Cauchy integrals.

Topological insulators with hybrid-order boundary states

open access: yesPhysical Review B
We report the discovery of several classes of novel topological insulators (TIs) with hybrid-order boundary states generated from the first-order TIs with additional crystalline symmetries. Unlike the current studies on hybrid-order TIs where different-order topology arises from merging different-order TIs in various energy, {\color{red} these novel ...

Stacking‐Engineered Magnonic Topology and Transport in Honeycomb Homobilayers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Topological magnons have emerged as a promising platform for dissipationless bosonic transport. However, a straightforward and effective strategy to engineer such topological states in real materials has yet to be fully realized. Here, a general scheme for controlling magnonic topological states via stacking engineering in van der Waals ...

Design of multiple materials structure based on an explicit and implicit hybrid topology optimization method

open access: yesScientific Reports
In this paper, an explicit and implicit hybrid topology optimization method is proposed for the design of multiple materials structure. The explicit topology optimization employs the moving morphable component (MMC) method to determine where the solid ...

Covalent Organic Frameworks for Photocatalytic CO2 Reduction: Metal Integration Principles, Strategies and Functions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with metals have been recognized as versatile platforms for photocatalytic CO2 reduction (CO2PRR). Herein, an overview of metal integration strategies for COFs is systematically summarized. Regulatory mechanisms and structure–activity relationships between metal integration and COF‐based CO2PRR are emphasized.
