Higher-order p-Laplacian boundary value problem at resonance on an unbounded domain [PDF]

open access: yesHeliyon, 2020
In this work, we employ the extension of Mawhin's coincidence degree by Ge and Ren to investigate the solvability of the p-Laplacian higher-order boundary value problems of the form(w(t)ϕp(x(n−1)(t)))'=h(t, x(t),⋯, x(n−1)(t ...

Solvability of a boundary value problem at resonance. [PDF]

open access: yesSpringerplus, 2016
This paper concerns the solvability of a nonlinear fractional boundary value problem at resonance. By using fixed point theorems we prove that the perturbed problem has a solution, then by some ideas from analysis we show that the original problem is solvable. An example is given to illustrate the obatined results.

On a Fourth-Order Boundary Value Problem at Resonance [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2017
We investigate the spectrum structure of the eigenvalue problem u4x=λux,  x∈0,1;  u0=u1=u′0=u′1=0. As for the application of the spectrum structure, we show the existence of solutions of the fourth-order boundary value problem at resonance -u4x+λ1ux+gx ...

On a Nonlocal Boundary Value Problem at Resonance

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 2001
Let \(E\) be the interval \([0,1]\) of \(\mathbb{R}\) and let \(N:C^1(E,\mathbb{R}) \rightarrow L^1(E,\mathbb{R})\) be a continuous operator. The authors study the existence of solutions to the initial value problem \[ Lx(t)=x''(t)=Nx(t), \text{ a.a.t.

On a Singular Second-Order Multipoint Boundary Value Problem at Resonance [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Differential Equations, 2017
The aim of this paper is to derive existence results for a second-order singular multipoint boundary value problem at resonance using coincidence degree arguments.

Solvability of a Multi-Point Boundary Value Problem at Resonance

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 2001
The existence of a solution of the following multipoint boundary value problem is studied: \[ x^{''}(t)=f(t,x(t),x'(t)),\quad ...

k-dimensional nonlocal boundary-value problems at resonance

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2015
In this article we show the existence of at least one solution to the system of nonlocal resonant boundary-value problem $$ x''=f(t,x), \quad x'(0)=0, \quad x'(1)=\int_{0 }^{1}x'(s)\,dg(s), $$ where $f:[0,1]\times\mathbb{R}^k\to\mathbb{R}^k$, $g:[0 ...

A boundary value problem of fractional order at resonance

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2010
We establish solvability of a boundary value problem for a nonlinear differential equation of fractional order by means of the coincidence degree theory.
