Constructive solution of coupled second order delay differential equations with variable coefficients

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1995
In this paper, we study initial value problems for coupld second order delay differential equations with variable coefficients. By means of the application of the method of steps and the method of Frobenius, the exact solution of the problem is ...

Error reachable set based stabilization of switched linear systems with bounded peak disturbances

open access: yesJournal of Automation and Intelligence, 2023
This paper investigates the error reachable set based stabilization problem for a class of discrete-time switched linear systems with bounded peak disturbances under persistent dwell-time (PDT) constraint.

Bounded-Error Parameter Estimation Using Integro-Differential Equations for Hindmarsh–Rose Model

open access: yesAlgorithms, 2022
A numerical parameter estimation method, based on input-output integro-differential polynomials in a bounded-error framework is investigated in this paper.

Velocity‐free formation control for omnidirectional mobile robots with input saturation

open access: yesIET Control Theory & Applications, 2023
This paper presents a command‐filter‐based formation control scheme for the leader‐follower omnidirectional mobile robots (OMRs) subject to the absence of the velocity measurements, input saturation and unknown bounded disturbances.

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Optimal error correction for computationally bounded noise [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
For adversarial but computationally bounded models of error, we construct appealingly simple and efficient cryptographic encoding and unique decoding schemes whose error-correction capability is much greater than classically possible.

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

A Novel Data-Driven Terminal Iterative Learning Control with Iteration Prediction Algorithm for a Class of Discrete-Time Nonlinear Systems

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2014
A data-driven predictive terminal iterative learning control (DDPTILC) approach is proposed for discrete-time nonlinear systems with terminal tracking tasks, where only the terminal output tracking error instead of entire output trajectory tracking error

Sequential d-guaranteed estimate of the normal mean with bounded relative error

open access: yesУчёные записки Казанского университета: Серия Физико-математические науки, 2019
In this paper, we continue our research on evaluation of the mean value of the normal distribution with prior information that this parameter is positive and very small.
