Pathobiology of bovine leukemia virus.

open access: yesVeterinary research, 1994
Bovine leukemia virus (BLV) is a retrovirus similar to the human T-cell leukemia virus (HTLV). Most BLV infected animals (70%) develop a B-cell lymphoproliferative syndrome with altered productive traits and 1 to 5% die with B-cell lymphosarcomas. Although BLV infection is world-wide, western European countries have almost eradicated it by slaughtering

LRG1 Drives Pathological Angiogenesis by Disrupting Neutrophil Mitochondrial Homeostasis in Bladder Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In bladder cancer, LRG1 binds to ANXA2 to trigger mitochondrial ROS‐dependent NETosis. This pathogenic cascade actively uncouples endothelial‐mural cell interactions, driving profound vascular destabilization. Consequently, targeting the LRG1‐ANXA2 axis attenuates the neutrophil burden and induces structural vascular normalization, offering a powerful ...

Spread dynamics of bovine leukosis on breeding farms in the Republic of Dagestan

open access: yesВетеринария сегодня
Introduction. The problem of bovine leukosis on breeding farms in the Republic of Dagestan has been a pressing issue since the mid-1960s. Due to the fact that the coverage of planned serological testing did not exceed 1–2% of the existing population of ...

Using a Herd Profile to Determine Age-Specific Prevalence of Bovine Leukemia Virus in Michigan Dairy Herds

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine International, 2012
Enzootic bovine leukosis is a contagious disease of cattle caused by the retrovirus, bovine leukemia virus (BLV) and is the most common cause of malignant neoplasm in cattle.

Detection of specific antibodies of classes G and M to bovine leukemia virus in the blood serum

open access: yesВопросы вирусологии, 2019
Introduction. Bovine leukemia is a widespread infection worldwide, the causative agent of which is the bovine leukemia virus (BLV) in structural structure and functional features similar to human T-cell leukemia virus (HTLV-1 and HTLV-2) and It is ...

Genetic Ablation and Multi‐Omics Profiling Reveal CEP55 as a Key Driver of Tumorigenesis in Diverse Cancer Models

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Genetic ablation of Cep55 in Pten‐deficient mouse models delays tumorigenesis. Integrated multi‐omics analyses (proteomics, phosphoproteomics, and spatial transcriptomics) reveal that CEP55 regulates oncogenic signaling (RAS/ERK, PI3K/AKT), integrin/FAK‐mediated adhesion, extracellular matrix (ECM) remodeling, and endocytosis.

Tumor‐Derived Exosomal circAP2B1 Induces M2 Macrophage Polarization by Enhancing Mitochondrial Homeostasis to Promote Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma Progression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ESCC‐derived exosomal circAP2B1 promotes tumor progression by reprogramming mitochondrial metabolism via the ESRRA/KPNA1/MFN2 axis to induce M2 polarization of macrophages. ABSTRACT Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) remodels the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment via exosome‐mediated intercellular communication.
