Optimal transportation between hypersurfaces bounding some strictly convex domains [PDF]
Let $M,N$ be two smooth compact hypersurfaces of $\mathbb{R}^n$ which bound strictly convex domains equipped with two absolutely continuous measures $\mu$ and $\nu$ (with respect to the volume measures of $M$ and $N$).

Stochastic Zeroth-Order Multi-Gradient Algorithm for Multi-Objective Optimization
Multi-objective optimization (MOO) has become an important method in machine learning, which involves solving multiple competing objective problems simultaneously. Nowadays, many MOO algorithms assume that gradient information is easily available and use

MILP Modeling for (Large) S-boxes to Optimize Probability of Differential Characteristics
Current Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP)-based search against symmetric-key primitives with 8-bit S-boxes can only build word-wise model to search for truncated differential characteristics.

Gaining or losing perspective for convex multivariate functions on box domains
MINLO (mixed-integer nonlinear optimization) formulations of the disjunction between the origin and a polytope via a binary indicator variable is broadly used in nonlinear combinatorial optimization for modeling a fixed cost associated with carrying out a group of activities and a convex cost function associated with the levels of the activities.

A multivalent antiviral platform based on honeycomb‐shaped DNA nanostructures (HC–Urumin) is developed to enhance the potency and breadth of the host defense peptide Urumin. Through spatially patterned trimeric presentation, HC–Urumin disrupts influenza A virus entry, improves cell viability, and reduces disease severity in vivo‐offering a modular and ...

In situ TEM uncovers the atomic‐scale mechanisms underlying hydrogen‐driven γ‐Fe2O3→Fe3O4→FeO reduction. In γ‐Fe2O3, oxygen vacancies cluster around intrinsic Fe vacancies, leading to nanopore formation, whereas in Fe3O4, vacancy aggregation is suppressed, preserving a dense structure.

Colloidal Crack Sintering Lithography for Light‐Induced Patterning of Particle Assemblies
Colloidal crack sintering lithography (CCSL) is a microfabrication technique that uses light‐induced photothermal heating to trigger sintering and controlled cracking in polymer colloidal assemblies. Local structural changes generate microchannels and patterns, enabling direct writing of diverse topographic motifs.
