Chirodropid box jellyfish in the Gulf of Thailand [PDF]
Numerous severe and fatal cases of jellyfish stings have been reported from the Gulf of Thailand, and chirodropid box jellyfish have been suspected to be responsible for them. Despite the severity of these envenomations, only a few studies have been conducted on the jellyfish in this region.

Bulletin de la Societe de pathologie exotique (1990), 2013We report a case of box-jellyfish related envenomation in a 40 year old tourist that occurred in Sihanoukville, Cambodia, in the Gulf of Thailand.
