All-optical pattern matching system of 42 Gbit/s 4-bit BPSK signals and its demonstration for optoelectronic firewall

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2022
To achieve the all-optical pattern matching for optoelectronic firewall which could process high-speed optical signals efficiently, a BPSK all-optical pattern recognition system with the data rate up to 42 Gbit/s was proposed and demonstrated by ...

Chirp pseudo‐noise signal and its receiving scheme for LEO enhanced GNSS

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar & Navigation, 2022
Low earth orbit (LEO) constellations for enhancing global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) have been investigated and studied due to their higher floor power and rapid geometric changes. Compared with GNSS based on medium orbit (MEO) and geostationary

Structured optical receivers to attain superadditive capacity and the Holevo limit

open access: yes, 2011
When classical information is sent over a quantum channel, attaining the ultimate limit to channel capacity requires the receiver to make joint measurements over long codeword blocks.

Improved SNR estimation for BPSK and QPSK signals

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2009
A novel non-data-aided SNR estimation technique for BPSK and QPSK modulations in complex additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) is proposed. It uses the constant amplitude property of in-phase and quadrature components of these modulations to achieve an improved performance.

Near‐Field 3D Stochastic Channel Modelling and Performance Analysis for Cooperative STAR‐RIS Systems With Cylindrical Transmit Arrays

open access: yesIET Communications, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This paper develops a near‐field three‐dimensional geometry‐based stochastic channel model for cooperative STAR‐RIS systems equipped with cylindrical transmit arrays at the base station. The proposed model captures spherical wavefront propagation effects and coupled azimuth‐elevation characteristics under realistic near‐field conditions.

Detection Algorithm of BPSK Signal of Parameter-Adjusted Bistable Stochastic Resonance Model Based on Scale Change

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Given that signal is weakened to a certain extent in the process of noise suppression using mainstream method, and that new noise is introduced by signal processing system, causing the decrease of detection performance, to improve the performance of ...

Exact Analysis of SIR Performance for the Mobile OFDM Communication Systems Over the Underwater Acoustic Channel

open access: yesElectronics Letters, Volume 62, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
1.This paper develops an analytical model to calculate the signal‐to‐interference ratio performance of mobile orthogonal frequency division multiplexing underwater acoustic (UWA) communication systems. 2.The model accounts for UWA channel distortion and non‐uniform Doppler effects, maintaining high accuracy across a range of Doppler shift magnitudes. 3.

Ambiguity Function Optimization Based on Joint Communication and Sensing Waveform

open access: yesElectronics Letters, Volume 62, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
The sidelobe suppression strategy proposed in this study demonstrates significant advantages. Its ability to effectively reduce ambiguity function sidelobes has important practical significance for engineering. ABSTRACT The ambiguity function (AF) plays a critical role in joint communication and sensing (JCAS) systems. In this letter, we design a novel
