Summary A 2‐year‐old Arabian filly presented with acute onset grade 4/5 (AAEP) right forelimb lameness and hindlimb ataxia following a collision with another horse and subsequent fall. The right forelimb lameness was associated with marked scapulohumeral joint instability.

ABSTRACT Herpes zoster ophthalmicus (HZO) refers to reactivation of varicella–zoster virus involving the ophthalmic division of the trigeminal nerve. ABSTRACT Radiation‐induced peripheral neuropathy (RIPN) is a devastating sequela of radiation therapy (XRT). Current treatment options are limited. Deferoxamine (DFO) has been useful in treating radiation‐induced dermal fibrosis. This study aimed to evaluate DFO for RIPN. Thus, 18 mice received 30Gy of fractionated XRT.
