Enamel loss following ceramic bracket debonding: A quantitative analysis in vitro.

open access: yesAngle Orthodontist, 2015
OBJECTIVE To measure enamel surface changes after ceramic bracket debonding and after cleanup. MATERIALS AND METHODS Forty extracted teeth were scanned in three dimensions using an optical scanner (baseline). Two ceramic bracket systems were placed (19

Canonical endomorphism field on a Lie algebra

open access: yes, 2010
We show that every Lie algebra is equipped with a natural $(1,1)$-variant tensor field, the "canonical endomorphism field", naturally determined by the Lie structure, and satisfying a certain Nijenhuis bracket condition.

Orthodontic bracket slot dimensions as measured from entire bracket series.

open access: yesAngle Orthodontist, 2015
OBJECTIVE To measure the slot dimensions of an entire series of metal orthodontic brackets. MATERIALS AND METHODS Ten bracket series approximating five complete sets of brackets each were imaged and measured.

Making Photoresponsive Metal–Organic Frameworks an Effective Class of Heterogeneous Photocatalyst

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This review summarizes photoresponsive MOFs for photocatalytic applications, focusing on their capacity to enhance light harvesting, charge transfer, and surface reactions. While existing studies provide foundational insights, emerging characterization techniques enable a deeper understanding of photoresponsive MOFs.

The Effect Of Sıze, Materıal, Stıffness And Angulatıon On T He Prıctıonal Forces Between Bracket And Archwıre

open access: yesTurkish Journal of Orthodontics, 2004
Because an important part of force is lost in friction, this friction between wire and bracket is very important for clinicians. The aim of the study is to investigate the effect of an angle on the friction resistance between the stainless steel bracket ...

On algebraic structures in supersymmetric principal chiral model

open access: yes, 2009
Using the Poisson current algebra of the supersymmetric principal chiral model, we develop the algebraic canonical structure of the model by evaluating the fundamental Poisson bracket of the Lax matrices that fits into the rs matrix formalism of non ...

Occurrence and severity of enamel decalcification adjacent to bracket bases and sub-bracket lesions during orthodontic treatment with two different lingual appliances

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Orthodontics, 2015
Summary Background: Using lingual enamel surfaces for bracket placement not only has esthetic advantages, but may also be suitable in terms of reducing frequencies of enamel decalcifications.

Over 18% Efficiency from Halogen‐Free Solvent‐Processed Polymer Solar Cells Enabled by Asymmetric Small Molecule Acceptors with Fluoro‐Thienyl Extended Terminal

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An asymmetric non‐fullerene acceptor BTP‐FT is developed by extending the end group of Y6‐BO with thiophene. The conformation of the molecule is determined by the noncovalent F···S interaction as demonstrated by 2D NMR and simulations. An efficiency of 18.39% is achieved in the resulting ternary solar cells processed from toluene.
