The restoration of terrestrial ecosystems in Arid and Semi‐arid Lands (ASALs) has gained momentum through initiatives like the Bonn Challenge and Kenya's Forest and Landscape Restoration Implementation Plan (FOLAREP). This study piloted soil environmental DNA (eDNA) metabarcoding to assess biodiversity in restored areas of Lower Naibunga Community ...

Summary Some Bradyrhizobium strains nodulate certain Aeschynomene species independently of Nod factors, but thanks to their type III secretion system (T3SS). While different T3 effectors triggering nodulation (ErnA and Sup3) have been identified, the plant signalling pathways they activate remain unknown.

Development of RR soybean in function of glyphosate doses and Bradyrhizobium inoculation
Soybean has traditionally been produced in systems that include the use of herbicides, often in higher than recommended doses. The process of symbiotic nitrogen fixation in legumes can be hampered by these herbicides, both by direct effects on rhizobia ...

In vitro interactions between Bradyrhizobium spp. and Tuber magnatum mycelium
Tuber magnatum mycelium, together with its associated bacteria (Bradirhizobium spp.), were isolated for the first time. Cultural and phylogenetic analyses revealed the specificity of this interaction. Abstract Tuber magnatum is the most expensive truffle, but its large‐scale cultivation is still a challenge compared to other valuable Tuber species.

The application of biostimulation products derived from microbes is a promising strategy for mitigating soil‐borne disease without the necessity of root colonization. Here, the author demonstrated that the extracts of Streptomyces ahygroscopicus strain 769 solid fermentation products were effective in reducing watermelon Fusarium wilt incidence.

Characterization and Phylogenetic Analysis of Soybean Rhizobial Strains from Java and Sumatra
Twenty-seven and twenty-four soybean rhizobial isolates from Java and Sumatra, respectively, were characterized. Based on cross-inoculation, eight isolates from Java and nine from Sumatra could be grouped as soybean specific rhizobial species , while 19 ...

Genetic diversity of rhizobia associated with Acacia longifolia in two stages of invasion of coastal sand dunes [PDF]
We examined the genetic diversity of root nodule bacteria associated with the Australian legume Acacia longifolia in two stages of invasion of a coastal sand dune system. All isolates belonged to the genus Bradyrhizobium.
