Pax6 and Pax7 in the Central Nervous System of Cladistian Fishes: A Comprehensive Expression Analysis

The Pax6 and Pax7 expression patterns in cladistian fishes showed a high degree of conservation with all vertebrates studied, particularly in the forebrain and midbrain, and some exclusive features, such as the almost total absence of Pax6 in the adult pallium, with the exception of the putative pallial amygdala.

An atlas and database of neuropeptide gene expression in the adult zebrafish forebrain

An expression atlas and database of 38 neuropeptide genes and GABAergic/glutamatergic neuron marker genes in the adult zebrafish forebrain were constructed.
