Journal of Systematics and Evolution, EarlyView.In this study, we investigate the relationships among 149 species of Bulbostylis (Cyperaceae)—representing 69% of global diversity—using a universal probe kit for targeted genomic sequencing of flowering plants (Angiosperms353 probe kit). Our sampling also includes the genus Nelmesia, which we found to fall within Bulbostylis.

To enter the proteasome's 20S core particle and be hydrolyzed into peptides, the substrate must be unfolded and threaded through the 19S regulatory particle.
