Polyadic Braid Operators and Higher Braiding Gates
A new kind of quantum gates, higher braiding gates, as matrix solutions of the polyadic braid equations (different from the generalized Yang–Baxter equations) is introduced. Such gates lead to another special multiqubit entanglement that can speed up key

Clinical comparisons of different fixed orthodontic retainers [PDF]
Objective: The aim of this prospective clinical study was to compare the clinical outcomes of three different fixed lingual retainers, in terms of effects on periodontal health and success rate.

Topological model of composite fermions in the cyclotron band generator picture: New insights
A combinatorial group theory in the braid groups is correlated with the unusual “anyon” statistic of particles in 2D Hall system in the fractional quantum regime well.

In this paper, by introducing an isomorphism from the Mihailova subgroup of F2×F2 to the Mihailova subgroups of a braid group, we give an explicit presentation of Mihailova subgroups of a braid group.

Let Hgbe a genus g handlebody and MCG2n( Tg) be the group of the isotopy classes of orientation preserving homeomorphisms of Tg= ∂ Hg, fixing a given set of 2n points. In this paper we study two particular subgroups of MCG2n( Tg) which generalize Hilden groups defined by Hilden in [Generators for two groups related to the braid groups, Pacific J.

Magnetic flux quantum in 2D correlated states of multiparticle charged system
We demonstrate that in a correlated 2D systems of electrons in the presence of perpendicular magnetic field the magnetic flux quantum may not achieve its value determined for a single or a noncorrelated electron.

We introduce and study a family of groups $\mathbf{BB}_n$, called the blocked-braid groups, which are quotients of Artin's braid groups $\mathbf{B}_n$, and have the corresponding symmetric groups $ _n$ as quotients. They are defined by adding a certain class of geometrical modifications to braids.

The key exchange protocol based on non-commutative elements of Clifford algebra [PDF]
Many of the asymmetric cryptography protocols are based on operations performed on commutative algebraic structures, which are vulnerable to quantum attacks.

Comparative analysis of tensile strength between three types of retraction cords [PDF]
Introduction: Gingival retraction is the withdrawal of the marginal gingiva away from the tooth. This procedure creates a space between the prepared tooth and the gingival tissues to catch more fine details of the impression material.

New Construction of Blind Signatures From Braid Groups
A new construction of a blind signature scheme based on braid groups is proposed. In the random oracle model, the proposed scheme is provably unforgeable against chosen message attacks, assuming that the one-more matching conjugate problem in braid ...
