Study on the ϒ(1S)→BcDs decay

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2016
The branching ratio and direct CP asymmetry of the ϒ(1S)→BcDs weak decay are estimated with the perturbative QCD approach firstly. It is found that (1) the direct CP-violating asymmetry is close to zero, (2) the branching ratio Br(ϒ(1S)→BcDs)≳10−10 might

Second Generation Leptoquark Search in p\bar{p} Collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 1.8 TeV

open access: yes, 1995
We report on a search for second generation leptoquarks with the D\O\ detector at the Fermilab Tevatron $p\bar{p}$ collider at $\sqrt{s}$ = 1.8 TeV. This search is based on 12.7 pb$^{-1}$ of data.

Precision Measurement of the Radiative $\Beta$ Decay of the Free Neutron [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
The standard model predicts that, in addition to a proton, an electron, and an antineutrino, a continuous spectrum of photons is emitted in the $\beta$ decay of the free neutron. We report on the RDK II experiment which measured the photon spectrum using

Status of the NA62 Experiment [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2020
The decay K+→π+vv¯$ {K^ + } \to {\pi ^ + }v\bar v $, with a very precisely predicted branching ratio of less than 10−10 in the Standard Model framework, is one of the best candidates to reveal indirect effects of new physics at the highest mass scales ...

The Baffling Semileptonic Branching Ratio of $B$ Mesons

open access: yes, 1993
The apparent gap between the measured and the expected value for the semileptonic branching ratio of $B$ mesons has become more serious over the last year.

Experimental branching ratios for ϑ decay

open access: yesPhysics Letters, 1966
Abstract Analysis of 100 000 K − p interactions in the 72-in. bubble chamber has yielded branching ratios for ϑ decay, particularly for rarer modes (ϱπ,ηγ) for which little data have been available. Partial decay rates are compared with predictions of the Sakurai-Glashow “ϑω” mixing theory and used to determine the ϑ spin.

Shape coexistence from lifetime and branching-ratio measurements in 68,70Ni

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2016
Shape coexistence near closed-shell nuclei, whereby states associated with deformed shapes appear at relatively low excitation energy alongside spherical ones, is indicative of the rapid change in structure that can occur with the addition or removal of ...

Search for doubly charged Higgs bosons in like-sign dilepton final states at √s=7 TeV with the ATLAS detector [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
A search for doubly charged Higgs bosons decaying to pairs of electrons and/or muons is presented. The search is performed using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 4.7 fb(-1) of pp collisions at √s=7 TeV collected by the ATLAS ...

Measurement of the branching ratio [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1997
We report a measurement of the branching ratio B(D+ → ϱ0l+νl)B(D+ → K∗0l+νl) from the Fermilab charm hadroproduction experiment E791. Based on signals of 49 ± 17 events in the D+ → ϱ0e+νe mode and 54 ± 18 events in the D+ → ϱ0μ+νμ mode, we measure. B(D+ → ϱ0e+νe)B(D+ → e+νe) = 0.014 ± 0.014 ± 0.009,B(D+ → ϱ0μ+νμ)B(D+ → μ+νμ) = 0.051 ± 0.015 ± 0.009.

The branching ratio $$\omega \rightarrow \pi ^+\pi ^-$$ ω→π+π- revisited

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2017
We analyze the most recent data for the pion vector form factor in the timelike region, employing a model-independent approach based on dispersion theory.
