ZFAS1 is a lncRNA promoting cell proliferation and migration, exhibiting high expression in various cancers. It is conserved, widely expressed, and produces multiple splice variants with unclear roles. We identified several splice variants in hepatocyte models, and found that inhibiting or suppressing regulators of the unfolded protein response (PERK ...

Study of pure annihilation type decays $B \to D_s^{*} K$
In this work, we calculate the rare decays $B^0 \to D_s^{*-} K^+$ and $B^+ \to D_s^{*+} \bar{K}^0$ in perturbative QCD approach with Sudakov resummation. We give the branching ratio of $10^{-5}$ for $B^0 \to D_s^{*-}K^+$, which will be tested soon in $B$

Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

Measurement of the branching ratio for β-delayed α decay of 16N
While the C12(α,γ)16O reaction plays a central role in nuclear astrophysics, the cross section at energies relevant to hydrostatic helium burning is too small to be directly measured in the laboratory.

Meta‐analysis fails to show any correlation between protein abundance and ubiquitination changes
We analyzed over 50 published proteomics datasets to explore the relationship between protein levels and ubiquitination changes across multiple experimental conditions and biological systems. Although ubiquitination is often associated with protein degradation, our analysis shows that changes in ubiquitination do not globally correlate with changes in ...

Design of a Wide-angle Low-loss Equal-power Optical Divider
Beam propagation method is used to simulate numerically a proposed 1x3 optical power divider. Simulation results show that the proposed structure can divide the optical power with a division ratio equal to one and with branching angles as large as 8° and

B-meson Semi-inclusive Decay to $2^{-+}$ Charmonium in NRQCD and X(3872)
The semi-inclusive B-meson decay into spin-singlet D-wave $2^{-+}$ charmonium, $B\to \eta_{c2}+X$, is studied in nonrelativistic QCD (NRQCD). Both color-singlet and color-octet contributions are calculated at next-to-leading order (NLO) in the strong ...

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...
