M5-brane and D-brane scattering amplitudes [PDF]
A bstractWe present tree-level n-particle on-shell scattering amplitudes of various brane theories with 16 conserved supercharges. These include the world-volume theory of a probe D3-brane or D5-brane in 10D Minkowski spacetime as well as a probe M5 ...

Supergravity brane solutions allow for a generalised type of Kaluza-Klein reduction onto brane worldvolumes. The known replacement of a flat worldvolume metric by a Ricci-flat metric constitutes a consistent Kaluza-Klein truncation of the starting higher-

We introduce QP manifolds that capture the generalised geometry of type IIA string backgrounds with Ramond–Ramond fluxes and Romans mass. Each of these is associated with a BPS brane in type IIA: a D2, D4, or NS5-brane.

QUALITATIVE ASSESSMENT OF RENAL BLOOD PRESSURE USING NANOTECHNOLOGY INTERVENTION
The renal system is one of the major organ systems present in the human body, it is responsible for maintaining electrolyte balance, secreting important hormones, and maintaining homeostasis in the body.

T-branes as branes within branes [PDF]
Bound states of 7-branes known as 'T-branes' have properties that defy usual geometric intuition. For instance, the gauge group of n coincident branes may not be U(n). More surprisingly, matter may show up at unexpected loci, such as points. By analyzing T-branes of perturbative type IIB string theory in the tachyon condensation picture we gain the ...

We use the `branes within branes' approach to study the appearance of stable $ (p-2)-branes and unstable (p-1)-branes in type II string theory from p-brane--p-antibrane pairs. Our goal is to describe the emergence of these lower dimensional branes from brane-antibrane pairs in string theory using a tractable gauge theory language.

Accelerating branes and brane temperature [PDF]
We define the local acceleration and jerk of a relativistic brane in an ambient spacetime, and construct from them a dimensionless parameter lambda that must be small for an interpretation of brane acceleration as local Unruh temperature. As examples, we discuss (i) open rotating branes, for which lambda>1 (ii) closed spherical branes expanding in ...

Adding a brane to the brane-anti-brane action in BSFT [PDF]
We attempt to generalize the effective action for the D-brane-anti-D-brane system obtained from boundary superstring field theory (BSFT) by adding an extra D-brane to it to obtain a covariantized action for 2 D-branes and 1 anti-D-brane. We discuss the approximations made to obtain the effective action in closed form.
