Oči in slepe pege časa. O političnem / ideološkem in religioznem obzorju in terpretacije Ajshilovih Peržanov

Branes and quantization [PDF]

open access: yesAdvances in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics, 2009
The problem of quantizing a symplectic manifold (M, ) can be formulated in terms of the A-model of a complexification of M. This leads to an interesting new perspective on quantization. From this point of view, the Hilbert space obtained by quantization of (M, ) is the space of (Bcc,B') strings, where Bcc and B' are two A-branes; B' is an ordinary ...

The Einstein Equations on the 3-BRANE World:. a Window to Extra Dimensions [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
We carefully investigate the gravitational equations of the brane world, in which all the matter forces except gravity are confined on the 3-brane in a 5-dimensional spacetime with $Z_2$ symmetry.

Pouk klasičnih jezikov in vzgoja za realizem

open access: yesKeria: Studia Latina et Graeca, 2001
V zadnjih letih oziroma nekaj več kot zadnjem desetletju doživljamo v Sloveniji sorazmerno velike spremembe v odnosu političnih in kulturnih institucij do klasičnih jezikov in kulture, še zlasti kar zadeva njihov položaj v šolskem sistemu.

Brane configurations for branes at conifolds [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 1999
We study the T duality between a set of type IIB D3 branes atnon-orbifold threefold singularities, and type IIA configurations of D4 branes stretched between relatively rotated NS fivebranes. The four-dimensional N=1 field theories on the D3 brane world-volume can be easily described using the IIA brane configuration.

Remarks on brane and antibrane dynamics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
A bstractWe develop the point of view that brane actions should be understood in the context of effective field theory, and that this is the correct way to treat classical as well as loop divergences. We illustrate this idea in a simple model.

The dynamical second-order transport coefficients of smeared Dp-brane

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
The smeared Dp-brane is constructed by having the black Dp-brane uniformly smeared over several transverse directions. After integrating the spherical directions and the smeared directions, the smeared Dp-brane turns out to be a Chamblin-Reall model with

Brane-world Kaluza–Klein reductions and branes on the brane [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Physics, 2001
We present a systematic study of a new type of consistent “brane-world Kaluza–Klein reduction,” which describes fully nonlinear deformations of codimension one objects that arise as solutions of a large class of gauged supergravity theories in diverse dimensions, and whose world-volume theories are described by ungauged supergravities with-one half of ...

Brane-intersection dynamics from branes in brane backgrounds [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1998
We derive the dynamics of M-brane intersections from the worldvolume action of one brane in the background supergravity solution of another one. In this way we obtain an effective action for the self-dual string boundary of an M2-brane in an M5-brane, and show that the dynamics of the 3-brane intersection of two M5-branes is described by a Dirac-Born ...
