RESUMO: Um observatório astronômico é uma estrutura planejada ou adaptada para a observação dos astros. A instituição pode sobreviver e manter o nome, mesmo quando a estrutura física original é abandonada. Assim sendo, as instituições reconhecidamente mais antigas não contêm obrigatoriamente o mais antigo observatório astronômico.

This paper reports the findings of a survey for intestinal parasites among the Xavánte Indians from Central Brazil. A. lumbricoides (25.0%) and hookworms (33.6%) were the two most common helminths; E. histolytica complex (7.8%) and G. lamblia (8.6%) the most common protozoans.

Accelerating Biosensor Discovery: A Computationally‐Driven Pipeline for Microplastics Monitoring

A computationally guided pipeline unites molecular simulation, synthetic biology, electrochemical engineering, and machine learning to accelerate biosensor discovery. A Bacillus anthracis carbohydrate‐binding module is used to develop a high‐performance micro‐ and nanoplastics sensor with greatly reduced error and variability.
