Boundedness of the p-primary torsion of the Brauer group of products of varieties
Let k be a field finitely generated over its prime subfield. We prove that the quotient of the Brauer group of a product of varieties over k by the sum of the images of the Brauer groups of factors has finite exponent.

On the Brauer group of diagonal quartic surfaces [PDF]
We obtain an easy sufficient condition for the Brauer group of a diagonal quartic surface D over Q to be algebraic. We also give an upper bound for the order of the quotient of the Brauer group of D by the image of the Brauer group of Q.

Boundedness of the p-primary torsion of the Brauer group of an abelian variety [PDF]
We prove that the $p^\infty$-torsion of the transcendental Brauer group of an abelian variety over a finitely generated field of characteristic $p>0$ is bounded.

Contractions of hyper-Kähler fourfolds and the Brauer group [PDF]
We study the geometry of exceptional loci of birational contractions of hyper-K\"ahler fourfolds that are of K3$^{[2]}$-type. These loci are conic bundles over K3 surfaces and we determine their classes in the Brauer group. For this we use the results on

Evaluating the wild Brauer group [PDF]
Classifying elements of the Brauer group of a variety X $X$ over a p $p$ -adic field by the p $p$ -adic accuracy needed to evaluate them gives a filtration on Br X $\operatorname{Br}X$ . We relate this filtration to that defined by Kato’s Swan conductor.

The conjectures of Artin-Tate and Birch-Swinnerton-Dyer [PDF]
We provide two proofs that the conjecture of Artin-Tate for a fibered surface is equivalent to the conjecture of Birch-Swinnerton-Dyer for the Jacobian of the generic fibre.

Patient and Caregiver Perceptions of Animal Assisted Activity in Orthodontics
Dental anxiety affects up to 21% of children and 80% of adults and is associated with lifelong dental avoidance. Animal assisted activity (AAA) is widely used to reduce anxiety and pain in medical settings and has promise in dentistry.

Speech is a communication method found only in humans that relies on precisely articulated sounds to encode and express thoughts. Anatomical differences in the maxilla, mandible, tooth position, and vocal tract affect tongue placement and broadly ...

Brauer groups of moduli of hyperelliptic curves via cohomological invariants
Using the theory of cohomological invariants for algebraic stacks, we compute the Brauer group of the moduli stack of hyperelliptic curves ${\mathcal {H}}_g$ over any field of characteristic $0$.
