Main‐chain polyfullerenes: Taking fullerene to the next dimension

This short review appraises main‐chain polyfullerenes. Their slow development over 30 years has suddenly boomed with a rapid growth due to exciting developments in solar energy. Abstract This mini‐review gives an overview of the development, chemistry, properties and applications of main‐chain polyfullerenes.

An all‐polymer blend for photovoltaic applications: A combined photoabsorption, photoemission and ab initio multi‐configurational study

Near‐edge X‐ray absorption fine structure, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy and multi‐configuration self‐consistent field results show, respectively, preferential edge‐on and face‐on orientations for the thiophene and naphthalene diimide units of the PBDB‐T‐SF:P(NDI2OD‐T2) all‐polymer blend, and surface accumulation of the acceptor.

Synthesis and application of alginate@CuFe2O4 polymeric spheres in 17‐β‐estradiol adsorption processes in Amazonian rivers

Computational design of poly(p‐phenylene vinylene)‐based gas sensors: tunable reactivity and selectivity via side‐group functionalization

Side‐group functionalization enhances the reactivity and optoelectronic properties of poly(p‐phenylene vinylene) (PPV) derivatives for chemical sensing. Design and optoelectronic profiling of a semicrystalline thiophene–phenylene copolymer for advanced organic electronics
