This study demonstrates an efficient recycling route for out‐of‐spec AlSi10Mg atomized powders through compaction and arc remelting followed by suction casting. By correlating compaction load, cooling rate, and resulting microstructure, we show that intermediate pressures (50–80 kN) and rapid cooling refine dendrites, reduce porosity, and enhance ...

Zein‐Based Adhesives: Sustainable Extraction and Application in Bioadhesive Technologies
Zein is extracted from corn gluten meal using a simple and scalable process with high yield (~90%). The resulting protein is applied in bioadhesives modified with Ca2+ and Fe3+ ions, exhibiting substrate‐dependent adhesion. The findings demonstrate competitive bonding performance and highlight the role of ionic interactions in tuning adhesion ...

Men in transit: The spectrum of masculinity in Caio Fernando Abreu’s White Limit (1970)
In the present work, we aim at discussing the construction of subjectivity in relation to gender categories, especially in regards to male identity, in Caio Fernando Abreu’s first novel White Limit (Original title: Limite branco, 1970).

The effects of the minimum wage on wages and employment in Brazil: a menu of minimum wage variables [PDF]
The international literature on minimum wage strongly lacks empirical evidence from developing countries. In Brazil, not only are increases in the minimum wage large and frequent - unlike the typically small increases focused upon in most of the ...

Cathodic Cage Plasma Deposition of Nanostructured Cu–Fe–Se Coatings on Poly(methyl Methacrylate)
Nanostructured Cu–Fe–Se coatings are deposited on PMMA by a modified cathodic cage plasma process, enabling low‐temperature deposition on polymer substrates. A transition from discontinuous to compact morphology is observed with temperature, with optimal properties at 200°C, where improved CuFeSe2‐type bonding, lowest sheet resistance, and favorable ...

A revolução pelos sentidos: traços surrealistas em A fúria do corpo, de João Gilberto Noll
This paper intends to relate João Gilberto Noll’s work, A fúria do corpo (1981), to the conception of surrealistic writing, surpassing the common ideas presented in the surrealistic movement as purposed by André Breton and his followers.

EQUITY-PREMIUM PUZZLE: EVIDENCE FROM BRAZILIAN DATA [PDF]
This paper uses 1992:1-2004:2 quarterly data and two diferent methods (approximation under lognormality and calibration) to evaluate the existence of an equity- premium puzzle in Brazil. In contrast with some previous works in the Brazilian literature, I

This work demonstrates the successful integration of a phenanthroline‐based 2D COF with MnI catalytic sites into a catholyte‐free membrane‐electrode‐assembly cell for CO2 electroreduction. The crystalline COF actively suppresses Mn⁰–Mn⁰ dimerization, achieving a turnover frequency of 617 h⁻¹ at 2.8 V (full‐cell potential), and enabling stable operation.
