Inflammatory Disease of the Breast
1990It is frequently stated in the literature that inflammatory disease of the breast is indistinguishable from carcinoma (Raju et al. 1986). With careful correlation of clinical signs and symptoms, and mammographic and sonographic findings, a high rate of accuracy can be achieved in the diagnosis of inflammatory diseases (80%–85% in our experience).
