Soft Ionic and Electronic Triboelectric Nanogenerators: Toward Attachable and Implantable Biomedical Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review provides an overview of triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG)–based biomedical applications by classifying studies into electronic and ionic systems across attachable and implantable platforms. It summarizes key material choices, device structures, and working mechanisms that characterize current TENG‐based research, and outlines six future ...

De Rerum Natura: How Do Halide Perovskites Self‐Heal From Damage?

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
How can lead‐halide‐perovskites self‐heal after damage from light, heat, mechanical strain, or radiation? We show that reversible chemical defects underly performance losses and recovery, highlighting the roles of halide and proton migration, redox‐driven reactions, and acid‐base equilibria.

Quantum Breathers in a Nonlinear Lattice

open access: yes, 1996
We study nonlinear phonon excitations in a one-dimensional quantum nonlinear lattice model using numerical exact diagonalization. We find that multi-phonon bound states exist as eigenstates which are natural counterparts of breather solutions of ...

Large‐Area 2D Metasurface‐Based Triboelectric E‐Skin Arrays: Contact & Proximity Tactile Mapping with Broadband Acoustic Readouts

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Metasurface‐engineered NC‐TENG arrays integrate tactile pressure mapping, non‐contact gesture sensing, and acoustic signal readouts in one ultrathin module, and outperforms pristine PDMS in terms of electrical output and real‐time spatial mapping for next‐gen wearables.

Heat transfer in the circuit of a crystal polymer

open access: yesТонкие химические технологии, 2010
A process of heat transport in the circuit of an oriented crystalline polymer in the range of low temperatures within the limits of approximation of stationary neighboring circuits were considered.

Breather Stability in One Dimensional Lattices with a Symmetric Morse Potential

open access: yesTrends in Computational and Applied Mathematics, 2008
Harmonic one dimensional lattice with an additional Morse potential on site has been used to describe DNA macromolecules properties. We analyze a modification of this lattice introducing a symmetric Morse potential.

Breathers on Quantized Superfluid Vortices [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2013
We consider the propagation of breathers along a quantised superfluid vortex. Using the correspondence between the local induction approximation (LIA) and the nonlinear Schr dinger equation, we identify a set of initial conditions corresponding to breather solutions of vortex motion governed by the LIA.

Hydrogel‐Based Airway‐on‐Tube With Perfusable Endothelial Lumen and Outward Epithelialization

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A hydrogel‐based airway‐on‐tube platform featuring a perfusable endothelial lumen and outward epithelialization is presented. The system supports primary human bronchial epithelial and lung microvascular endothelial coculture under air‐liquid interface conditions.

On the variational structure of breather solutions II: periodic mKdV equation

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2017
We study the periodic modified KdV equation, where a periodic in space and time breather solution is known from the work of Kevrekidis et al.\ [19]. We show that these breathers satisfy a suitable elliptic equation, and we also discuss via numerics ...

Research on Performance Prediction Model of Impeller-Type Breather

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2019
To investigate the characteristics of separation and resistance of an impeller-type breather in an aeroengine lubrication system, orthogonal test design is used in calculation of the operating condition.
