Strategically adjusting the pyridine nitrogen position in the polymer matrix (pyridine isomerism) intensifies its interaction with embedded Fe3O4 nanocrystals. This enhanced interaction induces a spin‐state transition in Fe from low‐spin to intermediate‐spin, accompanied by refined d‐orbital properties.

Renormalized waves and discrete breathers in $β$-FPU chains
We demonstrate via numerical simulation that in the \textit{strongly} nonlinear limit, the $β$-FPU system in thermal equilibrium behaves surprisingly like weakly nonlinear waves in properly renormalized normal variables. This arises because the collective effect of strongly nonlinear interactions effectively renormalizes linear dispersion frequency and

ABSTRACT Background To determine the safety and efficacy of laser ablation of the posterior nasal nerve (PNN) for the treatment of chronic rhinitis. Methods This study was a single‐center, prospective, single‐blinded, randomized sham‐controlled trial. Patients with a 24‐h reflective Total Nasal Symptom Score (rTNSS) ≧ 5, rhinorrhea ≧ 2, and congestion ≧

Second-order nonlinear Schrödinger equation breather solutions in the degenerate and rogue wave limits [PDF]
We present an explicit analytic form for the two-breather solution of the nonlinear Schrödinger equation with imaginary eigenvalues. It describes various nonlinear combinations of Akhmediev breathers and Kuznetsov-Ma solitons.

Fundamental Characteristics of Breather Hydrodynamics
International audienceThe formation of oceanic rogue waves can be explained by the modulation instability of deep-water Stokes waves. In particular, being doubly-localized and amplifying the background wave amplitude by a factor of three or higher, the ...

A physics‐grounded framework based on decoherence timescales (τ_dec vs τ_func), Markovian validity, and falsifiability criteria is applied across molecular systems to distinguish where quantum effects are necessary, marginal, or irrelevant. The analysis integrates quantum chemistry, biological quantum mechanisms, and quantum computing under a unified ...

On a Vector Modified Yajima–Oikawa Long-Wave–Short-Wave Equation
A vector modified Yajima−Oikawa long-wave−short-wave equation is proposed using the zero-curvature presentation. On the basis of the Riccati equations associated with the Lax pair, a method is developed to construct multi-fold classical and ...

Soliton–Breather Interaction: The Modified Korteweg–de Vries Equation Framework
Pairwise interactions of particle-like waves (such as solitons and breathers) are important elementary processes that play a key role in the formation of the rarefied soliton gas statistics.
