Study of bremsstrahlung photons in bulk target using MCNP code
The aim of this research was to study the feasibility of bremsstrahlung photon production in target bombarded by 1 GeV electrons. The calculations were performed by the Monte Carlo code MCNP.

Abstract Background The clinical translation of Minibeam RT (MBRT) has recently started thanks to the first human treatments recently performed. However, despite experimental evidence, the impact of the dose distribution parameters involved on the magnitude of the effect itself and the underlying radiobiological mechanisms are still only partially ...

Electron Collision Effects on the Bremsstrahlung Emission in Lorentzian Plasmas
"The electron-electron collision effects on the electron-ion bemsstranhlung process are investigated in warm Lorentzian plasmas. The effective electron-ion interaction potential is obtained by including the far-field terms caused by the electron-electron

Angular distribution of Bremsstrahlung photons and of positrons for calculations of terrestrial gamma-ray flashes and positron beams [PDF]
Within thunderstorms electrons can gain energies of up to hundred(s) of MeV. These electrons can create X-rays and gamma-rays as Bremsstrahlung when they collide with air molecules.

Justification of a High-Energy Regime for Water Disinfection by an Electron Beam
The challenge of providing safe and clean drinking water requires reliable disinfection methods. Electron beam processing is a promising technology, but its industrial application is often limited by regulatory constraints, which typically cap the ...

Incoherent Processes in Dilepton Production in Proton–Nucleus Scattering at High Energies
(1) Purpose: Incoherent processes in production of lepton pairs (dileptons) are studied for the scattering of protons on nuclei. Methods: New quantum mechanical model is constructed on the basis (1) generalization of the nuclear model of emission of ...
