Ethnography of Breton language transmission in families in Lower Brittany

The aim of this doctoral study over the past two years has been to understand object-language transmission processes from an ethnological perspective. Based on fieldwork mainly comprising interviews with families, it has analysed the family transmission systems of Breton in Brittany (France) and French in Saskatchewan (Canada).
