Cytopathology, 2017This letter recommends the UEMS recommendation for cytopathology and histopathology to be taught as a common trunk throughout training, and points out the dangers to diagnostic cytopathology of centralisation and isolation of cervical cytology services and the proposed introduction of primary HPV testing without adequate cytology control.
