An accurate common-mode current prediction method for transformerless photovoltaic inverters based on graph theory

open access: yes, 2017
The common-mode current is an important indicator with transformerless photovoltaic inverters. However, up to now, there is not an accurate method to predict common-mode current in the inverter design process, resulting from inappropriate device ...

Integrative Approaches for DNA Sequence‐Controlled Functional Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
DNA is emerging as a programmable building block for functional materials with applications in biomimicry, biochemical, and mechanical information processing. The integration of simulations, experiments, and machine learning is explored as a means to bridge DNA sequences with macroscopic material properties, highlighting current advances and providing ...

Synchronized Electro‐Chromo‐Emissive Devices Using a Mixed Ionic‐Electronic Conductive Layer for XR Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A single cell type Electro‐chromo‐emissive (ECECL) device integrating synchronized electrochromic (EC) and electrochemiluminescent (ECL) functions is developed using a mixed ionic‐electronic conductor (MIEC). A MIEC layer reduces ionic/electronic resistance, enabling ultrafast switching and enhanced optical contrast.

Graph Theory Students’ Perceptions of Graph Isomorphism [PDF]

open access: yesIranian Journal of Educational Research
Objective: Graph isomorphism is a central topic in graph theory, yet students often struggle to grasp its underlying principles. This study aimed to explore students' perceptions of graph isomorphism and identify the conceptual metaphors they employ when

Existence of a regular unimodular triangulation of the edge polytopes of finite graphs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
In this paper we give several criteria for the edge polytope of a fundamental FHM-graph to possess a regular unimodular triangulation in terms of some simple data of the the graph. We further apply our criteria to several examples of graphs and show that

Action functional as an early warning indicator in the space of probability measures via Schrödinger bridge [PDF]

open access: yesQuant. Biol.
Critical transitions and tipping phenomena between two meta‐stable states in stochastic dynamical systems are a scientific issue. In this work, we expand the methodology of identifying the most probable transition pathway between two meta‐stable states ...

Exciton Binding Energy Modulation in 2D Perovskites: A Phenomenological Keldysh Framework

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The intrinsic screening effects are successfully decoupled from structural distortion by rigorously designing a series of 2D perovskites. This enabled us to demonstrate how the dielectric environment modulates the quasiparticle bandgap and exciton binding energy.

Symptom network connectivity and interaction among people with HIV in China: secondary analysis based on a cross-sectional survey

open access: yesBMC Public Health
Background The symptom burden in people with HIV (PWH) is considerable. Nonetheless, the identification of a central symptom, or bridge symptom, among the myriad symptoms experienced by PWH remains unclear.
