Bridge Inspection Strategies

Journal of Performance of Constructed Facilities, 1991
Research is reported which investigated current inspection practices and proposed an efficient bridge inspection strategy. For the purpose of predicting the sufficiency rating of bridges, a methodology was developed to obtain statstical regression equations based on Florida Department of Transportation bridge inspection records.

Bridge Inspection Quality Management

Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board, 2005
Reliable data on the condition of bridge networks are critical for successful bridge management. However, little attention has been paid to the quality of the data gathered in bridge inspections. This paper reviews the most important areas of bridge inspection that cause variation in bridge condition data and presents possible misjudgments made as a ...

GPR inspection of concrete bridges

Cement and Concrete Composites, 2006
Abstract Ground-penetrating-radar (GPR) has become an important method for the non-destructive testing of concrete bridges. Although there are standards and guidelines available today, the quality of results does not only depend on the object inspected but also on the qualification and experience of the team carrying out the radar survey.

Underwater bridge inspection

2016
Statistički pokazatelji ukazuju da je najčešći uzrok oštećenja i rušenja mostova djelovanje vode. Učešće toga uzroka je oko 50 %. U uvjetima kada mostovi s dijelom svoje konstrukcije zadiru u protočni profil aluvijalnih vodotoka u interakciji s vodom izazivaju lokalne promjene na koritu.
