Abstract The problem of reducing the diameter of a hypercube-based structure by adding some redundant links to the standard hypercube is considered. A new architecture called Bridged Hypercube (BHC) is introduced. It is shown that the BHC diameter is approximately half the diameter of its hypercube counterpart.

The Effects of Deteriorating Bridges on Bridges on the Bridge Network Connectivity
Structures Congress 2011, 2011Evaluation of the seismic reliability of aging transportation networks traditionally ignores the deteriorating state of highway bridges. In this study, the present day seismic reliability of bridges in an existing highway network has been evaluated through a time-dependent seismic fragility analysis.

Bridging of layers of neural networks
6th Seminar on Neural Network Applications in Electrical Engineering, 2003This paper involves the evolution of neural networks based on parameters gained from a backpropagation training algorithm. The bridging of layers of neural networks is suggested as a new process in this evolutionary process, in addition to cell division and degeneration of synapses and cells.
