Ascorbic Acid Modulates Collagen Properties in Glucocorticoid‐Induced Osteoporotic Bone: Insights into Chemical, Mechanical, and Biological Regulation

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Osteoporosis from long‐term glucocorticoid (GIOP) use elevates susceptibility to fracture. This study shows GCs impair ascorbic acid (AA) metabolism in osteoblasts, collagen synthesis and extracellular matrix integrity. AA enhanced collagen biochemical and mechanical properties and restored osteoblast and endothelial function. These findings underscore

Hydrocolloid‐Based Multiwavelength Stretchable QD‐OLED Patch for Simultaneous Neonatal Jaundice and Dermatitis Treatment with Biosignal Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Comparison of therapeutic and diagnostic applications of a surface‐emitting light source with multiwavelength emission characteristics. Abstract Conventional light‐emitting‐diode‐based light sources suffer from rigidity, localized heating, and poor adaptability to skin deformation, limiting their use in skin‐attached medical devices.

Brief Communication : Suppression of Spontaneous In Vitro Transformation of Autologous Leukocytes by Plasma From Convalescent and Postconvalescent Infectious Mononucleosis Patients

JNCI: Journal of the National Cancer Institute, 1975
All 14 plasma samples from 13 convalescent and postconvalescent infectious mononucleosis (IM) patients suppressed the spontaneous in vitro transformation of autologous leukocytes. In contrast, only 2 of 8 plasma samples from patients with acute IM suppressed this transformation.
