SPECIAL FIELDS OF THE GALAXY RADIO EMISSION

open access: yesOdessa Astronomical Publications, 2016
The brightness temperatures of radio emission were measured with the UTR-2 low-frequency radio telescope at frequencies 12.6, 14.7, 16.7, 20 and 25 MHz for the following Galaxy regions: the North Pole, the area of minimum radio brightness and the ...

Homogeneous vs Biased IGM: Impact on Reionization

open access: yesFrontiers in Astronomy and Space Sciences, 2021
This paper considers the impact of large scale biasing of the IGM on reionization. The two simplest but extreme scenarios for IGM biasing are: an unbiased IGM which has a constant density and an IGM with density equal to the collapsed matter density.

Colour of baked products during baking

open access: yesCzech Journal of Food Sciences, 2000
The parameters of the colour of the surface of bakery products - brightness L*, a* for red and b* for yellow colour - were measured at different temperature regimes. The parameters were found to change during the time of baking.

Direct magneto-optical compression of an effusive atomic beam for high-resolution focused ion beam application [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
An atomic rubidium beam formed in a 70 mm long two-dimensional magneto-optical trap (2D MOT), directly loaded from a collimated Knudsen source, is analyzed using laser-induced fluorescence.

Spectral Index of the Diffuse Radio Background Measured From 100 to 200 MHz [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
The mean absolute brightness temperature of the diffuse radio background was measured as a function of frequency in a continuous band between 100 and 200 MHz over an effective solid angle of ~pi str at high Galactic latitude.

Intrinsic brightness temperatures of blazar jets at 15 GHz

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2013
We have developed a new Bayesian Markov Chain Monte Carlo method to deconvolve light curves of blazars into individual flares, including proper estimation of the fit errors.

Space VLBI Observations Show $T_b > 10^{12} K$ in the Quasar NRAO 530 [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
We present here space-based VLBI observations with VSOP and a southern hemisphere ground array of the gamma-ray blazar NRAO 530 at 1.6 GHz and 5 GHz. The brightness temperature of the core at 1.6 GHz is $5 \times 10^{11}$ K.

AVALIAÇÃO DO EFEITO DAS VARIÁVEIS DE PROCESSO NO BRANQUEAMENTO DE POLPA CELULÓSICA COM PERÓXIDO DE HIDROGÊNIO

open access: yesCiência Florestal, 2018
The bleached pulp market has been working to provide brightness levels at values of 92% ISO respecting, however, environmental standards and seeking for less aggressive processes.
