Dynamic Stability in Intermittent Seawater Electrolysis Via Frustrated Lewis Pair Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The Frustrated Lewis Pair concept guides the design strategy of Cr‐NiCoPv@NF to address dual limitations in intermittent alkaline seawater electrolysis. Abstract Alkaline seawater electrolysis powered by intermittent renewable energy offers a promising pathway for sustainable hydrogen production, yet faces critical challenges in proton supply dynamics ...

Hierarchically Porous Nitrogen‐Doped Carbon with High Conductivity for Rapid and Efficient Cr(VI) Reduction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The d‐PNC(1100, 10%) catalyst, synthesized via a zinc‐based ionic liquid self‐sacrificing pore‐forming strategy to create a defect‐rich, hierarchical, nitrogen‐doped porous structure, enhances conductivity, promotes rapid mass transfer and synergistic catalytic activity, driving efficient Cr(VI) reduction in OA solution to generate Cr(III)‐OA complexes.

Overcoming PEG Antigenicity: Statistical PEG Isomers Reduce Antibody Binding

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Conventional poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) is commonly applied in biomedicine, but is now known to induce antibody formation. Here, it is shown that the development of “randomized PEG” (rPEG) featuring glycidyl methyl ether (GME) comonomers decreased antibody binding.

Moisture Harvesting by the Structure Regulation of Hygroscopic Hydrogel for Energy and Water Sustainability

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Hygroscopic hydrogels are capable of utilizing the moisture from air, which can transfer the gaseous water to liquid by a surface phase transition. Taking advantage of this water, sustainable water production, thermal management, and electricity generation can be realized.
