Twenty-year trends in patient referrals throughout the creation and development of a regional memory clinic network. [PDF]

open access: yesAlzheimers Dement (N Y), 2020
Abstract Introduction Memory clinics (MCs) are the main model for dementia diagnosis and care. Following the development of a MC network in Northern France, our objectives were to assess its impact on patient characteristics over 20 years. Methods The characteristics of new consultants were studied from 1997 to 2016.

A two‐stage method for single image de‐raining based on attention smoothed dilated network

open access: yesIET Image Processing, Volume 16, Issue 10, Page 2557-2567, 21 August 2022., 2022
Abstract Rain can severely hamper the visibility of scene objects. Although existing deep learning methods have reported promising performance, they often fail to obtain satisfactory results in many practical situations, especially when the input image contains both rain streaks and haze‐like degradation.

LBP‐based progressive feature aggregation network for low‐light image enhancement

open access: yesIET Image Processing, Volume 16, Issue 2, Page 535-553, February 2022., 2022
Abstract At night or in other low‐illumination environments, optical imaging devices cannot capture details and color information in images accurately because of the reduced number of photons captured and the low signal‐to‐noise ratio. Consequently, the image is very noisy with low contrast and inaccurate color information, which affects human visual ...

Low‐light image enhancement based on Retinex decomposition and adaptive gamma correction

open access: yesIET Image Processing, Volume 15, Issue 5, Page 1189-1202, April 2021., 2021
Abstract Low‐light images suffer from poor visibility and noise. In this paper, a low‐light image enhancement method based on Retinex decomposition is proposed. A pyramid network is first utilized to extract multi‐scale features to improve the quality of Retinex decomposition. Then the decomposed illumination is refined via an adaptive Gamma correction

La couleur et la brique : les exemples du Sud-Ouest de la France et de Saint-Germain-en-Laye

open access: yesBulletin du Centre de Recherche du Château de Versailles, 2002
Brick is man-made, which gives it a special status quite different to that of stone. It can be highly resistant and also extremely sophisticated. But usually, because of poorly controlled firing, it is quite irregular or even very rustic.

On varieties of Hilbert type [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
A variety X over a field K is of Hilbert type if the set of rational points X(K) is not thin. We prove that if f: X\to S is a dominant morphism of K-varieties and both S and all fibers f^{-1}(s), s in S(K), are of Hilbert type, then so is X.
