The Ductile to Brittle Transition in Polycarbonate
An advanced bulk constitutive model is used with a new cohesive zone model that is stress state and rate-dependent in order to simulate the ductile to brittle failure transition in polycarbonate.

The electronic band structure determines all the charge transport properties of crystalline solids. It also controls the optical response of the material. Bonding characters are strongly influenced by the band structure. The band structures of Mg2TmH6 (Tm = Rh, Pd, Ir, Pt) compounds shown above confirm their metallic nature.

BRITTLE TO DUCTILE TRANSITION IN SILICON.
The brittle to ductile transition in silicon is studied by four-point bend testing of specimens containing controlled flaws. A characteristic increase in fracture stress is observed at the transition temperature which is directly correlated to the ...

Abstract The crania of leporid lagomorphs are uniquely fenestrated, including the posterior cranial bones and the lateral portion of the maxilla. The functional significance of the highly fenestrated rostrum has received considerably little attention, despite being absent in other mammalian herbivores with a long rostrum.

Dissecting the dissection laboratory: Elements for designing a human anatomy laboratory
Abstract The human anatomy dissection laboratory is a critical component of anatomical and medical education. Development, maintenance, and stocking of these laboratory spaces have unique demands, with all of the challenges in running a laboratory with Biosafety Laboratory Level 2 (BSL‐2) classification, housing a large volume of tissues saturated with

ABSTRACT This study explores the impact of green human resource management (GHRM) practices on three distinct green voice behaviors. Grounded in the person‐organization fit theory, the research examines how GHRM practices influence employees' willingness to express their environmental concerns and ideas while investigating the role of the Big Five ...
