Wet‐Transferred MoS2 on Passivated InP: A Van der Waals Heterostructure for Advanced Optoelectronic Applications

This study presents a photodetector based on atomically thin MoS2 on an InP substrate, forming an n‐MoS2/p‐InP type‐II staggered heterojunction. Identification of initial vegetation and habitat changes in small temperate fens using remote sensing

Cellulose Acetate Fibers With Infiltrated ZnO Nanocrystals: Activation of Antibacterial Properties Against Acne vulgaris by Oxygen Plasma Treatment

We present biodegradable cellulose acetate fibers infiltrated with ZnO nanocrystals for Acne treatment. Fibers produced by centrifugal spinning were vapor‐phase infiltrated to contain uniform ZnO nanocrystals. Oxygen plasma treatment enhanced the fibers´ wettability.

A Comparative Study of Directed Energy Deposition‐Arc and Casting: Enhancing Mechanical and Thermal Properties of Hot‐Work Tool Steels

The study investigates the influence of DED‐Arc/M versus casting on the microstructure and material properties of X40CrMoV5‐1 (AISI H13) hot‐work tool steel. DED‐Arc/M yields finer microstructures, superior mechanical strength, and ductility, but slightly reduced thermal conductivity.
