On the Design of Conical Antennas for Broadband Impedance Matching Performance
In the scope of broadband radiators, the biconical antenna, or its monopole conical counterpart, is long known to be a proper choice. One common form of such radiator, the spherically capped conical antenna (SCCA), has closed-form solution to its input ...

A broadband horizontally polarised omnidirectional antenna with stable radiation patterns
A broadband horizontally polarised omnidirectional antenna (HPOA) with stable radiation patterns is proposed. The antenna is composed of two orthogonal broadband HPOA units fed by a wideband power divider.

Broadband dual-plate monopole antennas
In this paper, dual-plate monopole antennas without and with a shorting pin and/or edge trimming have been studied. The experimental results of return loss have been presented, and compared with single plate monopole antennas. It has been shown that the lower end matching frequency can be lowered by 17% by using dual plates.

Electrical Conductivities of Conductors, Semiconductors, and Their Mixtures at Elevated Temperatures
This article presents a comprehensive review of temperature‐dependent electrical conductivity data for multiple material classes at elevated temperatures, highlighting a persistent conductivity gap between metals and semiconductors in the range of 102$\left(10\right)^{2}$– 107$\left(10\right)^{7}$ S/m. Metal–ceramic irregular metamaterials are proposed
