A brain‐adhesive sensor (B‐Sensor) was developed by integrating a self‐healing biodegradable elastomer, a tissue‐adhesive hydrogel, and molybdenum electrodes. The B‐Sensor adheres to brain tissue, conforms to cortical curvatures, and maintains stable electrical performance over the intended period for reliable recording of spatiotemporal brain activity

Broadband sound radiated from subsonic rotors [PDF]
Recent theoretical work on sound sources in subsonic turbomachinery is applied to the correlation of axial-flow fan and compressor noise measurements. Correlations are presented for directivity and sound-power spectra associated with broadband noise.

Predictions of Rotor Broadband Noise
APPROVED This thesis presents an enhanced method for predicting aerodynamically generated broadband noise, produced by rotating machinery. The method improves on existing work for Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT) noise prediction, but is formulated to be applicable to a host of fan and rotor configurations.

Interfacial Synergy in a Band‐Aligned Low‐Dimensional Heterojunction Toward Broadband Photodetection
Monolithically integrating sensing and communication, a Ta2NiSe5/Sb2Te3 heterojunction achieves visible‐to‐near‐infrared photovoltaics with high‐speed terahertz photo‐thermoelectric detection at room temperature. By engineering a Type‐II van der Waals heterojunction, we overcome the intrinsic spectral limitations and disparate physical requirements of ...
