Private Broadcasting Over Independent Parallel Channels [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 2014
We study private broadcasting of two messages to two groups of receivers over independent parallel channels. One group consists of an arbitrary number of receivers interested in a common message, whereas the other group has only one receiver. Each message must be kept confidential from the receiver(s) in the other group.

Degrees of Freedom of Time Correlated MISO Broadcast Channel with Delayed CSIT

open access: yes, 2012
We consider the time correlated multiple-input single-output (MISO) broadcast channel where the transmitter has imperfect knowledge on the current channel state, in addition to delayed channel state information. By representing the quality of the current

Classical Information Capacity of the Bosonic Broadcast Channel

open access: yes, 2007
We show that when coherent-state encoding is employed in conjunction with coherent detection, the Bosonic broadcast channel is equivalent to a classical degraded Gaussian broadcast channel whose capacity region is dual to that of the classical Gaussian ...

A Unified Scheme for Two-Receiver Broadcast Channels with Receiver Message Side Information

open access: yes, 2015
This paper investigates the capacity regions of two-receiver broadcast channels where each receiver (i) has both common and private-message requests, and (ii) knows part of the private message requested by the other receiver as side information. We first
